Race and Cowards

Mr. Holder

Regarding you view that we are a nation of cowards on matters of race, I agree with you and I believe the cowardice starts at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue and then travels on to your office.

The Department of Justice, decision on the 2008 voter intimidation case was two things; Cold political calculation and the favoring of one race over another.

There is no one who believes had this crime been committed by white people that these same white people would be in a cold jail cell.

It is a shame, as the President had a lot of potential when he took office; it is said only Nixon could go to China and only Reagan could deal with the Kremlin.
There was a chance that future writers could have said; Only Obama could bring racial equality.
What we received instead was Chicago politics on a grand scale, lots of back room deals and less transparency than the last three administrations.

Thank you for your time and I hope that the President and your self can step back and see the big picture, after all, a black administration should lead the way on racial issues, instead of playing the same old game.
