Black Bondage : Letter

14 Dec, 2010
Isaac Alp Bradley

The Black Task Master

I am writing this in order to address my concerns about the Black leadership in the United States.

The NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) was founded to be a grassroots-based civil rights organization, to give black people a much needed voice. The NAACP according to your own web site,” seeks to remove all barriers of racial discrimination through the democratic processes”. You can not remove racial discrimination by causing the same, any organization that uses race as a criterion such as your organization, the Black congressional caucus or any other group that uses race as a factor, is inherently racist.

Having seen your web site I, as President Clinton said “Feel your pain”.
Unfortunately your actions do not fit you words, for example the pledge:

• I believe all Americans have equal rights and equal value.
• I cherish the diverse cultures, beliefs, and values of America.
• I believe we can disagree without being disagreeable.
• I repudiate all acts of racism and hate, both in words and action.
• I have faith in the promise of America – a promise built on mutual respect, common civility, and hope for a better tomorrow.
• I commit to building that better America by participating actively and peacefully in the democratic process.
We are one people. We are one nation. I’m an NAACP American

Sounds good, but is not followed by the leadership who for the most part ( from my prospective) work hard to keep there black subjects in servitude to the democratic party, in fact most black leaders are just task masters who are beholding to the man.
I truly believe that at one time the current Black leadership was whole heartedly interested civil rights. Now it appears the interest is in money and doing what ever will get 2 minuets of television time.
For example;

Mr. Jackson who said “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.” Mr. Jackson has said so much that searching the internet yielded page after page of questionable comments, that upon review really makes you wonder if its money or people that are more important.

Mr. Sharpton is just as bad. Apparently the bible they use has no passage to turn the other cheek.

What would these two men and by extension most of the rest of the American black leadership do with out racism or something to fight and raise money for? If they could not deliver a huge block of voters what use would they be?
I truly believe that, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr counts as one of America’s true inspirational leaders and his I have a dream speech is one of the great speeches in history, and Mr. Bill Cosby was correct in saying “Help thyself”, get a hand up not a hand out.

Of course there is the mass assault on the United States in the UN and the NAACP is a co-presenter , it makes me wonder if the NAACP is in reality just another liberal/communist organization.

The only group of people who work hard for racial turmoil is the black leadership in an apparent effort to keep the serfs on the plantation, after all if a black person is a conservative then they are called Uncle Tom etc……..

I will acknowledge that there are real issues to be resolved, but depending on the government through the Democratic Party to solve all issues is a form of slavery.

I would like to live long enough to see, Martin Luther King’s “judge a person by the content of his/her character, not by the color of the skin” be the social rule of thumb.
Unfortunately it will take 100 years or so for this to come about, and as long as black people are socially constrained from disagreeing with the black leadership or by extension the Democratic Party, they will be stuck on the plantation.

Historically speaking the Democratic Party was/is the party of slavery, Jim Crow laws, and segregation, if Dr. Martin Luther King had not been in jail and his father not made a deal with then-presidential candidate John F. Kennedy, the present black community would not be in bondage to the Democratic Party.

Thank you for your time.

Race and Cowards

October 25, 2010

Isaac Alp Bradley
Dowlen Rd.

Mr. Holder

Regarding you view that we are a nation of cowards on matters of race, I agree with you and I believe the cowardice starts at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue and then travels on to your office.

The Department of Justice, decision on the 2008 voter intimidation case was two things; Cold political calculation and the favoring of one race over another.

There is no one who believes had this crime been committed by white people that these same white people would be in a cold jail cell.

It is a shame, as the President had a lot of potential when he took office; it is said only Nixon could go to China and only Reagan could deal with the Kremlin.
There was a chance that future writers could have said; Only Obama could bring racial equality.
What we received instead was Chicago politics on a grand scale, lots of back room deals and less transparency than the last three administrations.

Thank you for your time and I hope that the President and your self can step back and see the big picture, after all, a black administration should lead the way on racial issues, instead of playing the same old game.

A letter to any one with a sense of humor, and respect for the military.

Debbie: Well it has been a while, you hate mongering, homophobic, lying, Earth destroying Nazi bigot!

Alp: Ah! Thanks for the warm love filled welcome from the under standing left wing, but I would remind you that Nazis are national socialists and for that you will need to ask; Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi she is the base of knowledge on socialism and Nazis.

Debbie: You are truly a racist pig, I saw that note you wrote to Mr. Martin Roland and I did not like it what the hell do you know you backward redneck.

Alp: Well I call it like I see it and if you remember the term redneck is an honorable label. Let’s get on with the Humor.

Letter: Mr. Roland

August 6, 2010

Isaac Alp Bradley
Dowlen Rd.
Beaumont Texas

Mr. Roland

Sir I read your article describing Confederate soldiers as terrorist. I let that sit a while so as not to make a rash judgment on your article.

The definition of a terrorist is: The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property in order to coerce or intimidate a government or the civilian population in furtherance of political or social objectives. (thefreedictionary)

The key word being: unlawful.

After all coercion and intimidation by the government is a long standing tradition, have you ever received a letter from the IRS?

Your premise that any one who fought for the South was a terrorist is at best weak and at the other extreme, your line of thought lacks depth and understanding of the fundamental issues, it marks you as a political hack.

The Preamble of the Confederate Constitution reads:
We, the people of the Confederate States, each State acting in its sovereign and independent character, in order to form a permanent federal government, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity — invoking the favor and guidance of Almighty God — do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Confederate States of America.

The original American colonist declared independence, had a constitutional convention and eventually we wound up with this: We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The difference between the original American colonist and the Confederacy is the south lost.

So Mr. Roland after reading your work, it appears every group of people who seek freedom are terrorist and by your own logic every solider whether his family had slaves or not was a terrorist. Also it would seem that from your perspective all who defend there homes or even fight is a terrorist.

I think sir that you are confusing terrorism with the racism residing in your own heart.

I would point you this way: jus ad bellum and jus in bello , Just war, not how it is conducted but why.

Further more your analogies to soldiers and terrorist is underwhelming.

If you where drafted and you served would you be a terrorist? Or using another example; Confederate soldiers wore shirts do you where a shirt? Are you a terrorist?

Thank you for your time and reading my opinion.
Isaac Alp Bradley

PS. As a personal note, I am proud to live in the south, but I would not change history and I am even prouder to be an American, even though America may have a less than sterling history it is still the best place on the planet.

Letter to the White House: Blog

A letter to the White House

Alp: I was sent this in an e-mail and thought I would share it.

Debbie: How dare you this is hate speech! You low life raciest bigot!

Alp: First of it is accurate and second it was written before the president mistreated the Israelis and from what I read in the Wall Street Journal about whom is giving who marching orders.

Debbie: Are you suggesting the White House is taking orders?

Alp: yep!! I sure am, the liberals wined for years that business was writing American policy. Well nothing has changed except the name of the businesses doing the writing.

Debbie: No way you pig, you right wing extremist tea bagger. The president is the most honorable man in our life time, if you would open your eye you would see.

Alp: I guess so, providing you where born 15 seconds ago! Remember “Change you can believe in”
Now to the letter.

April 17, 2009 the White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Washington, DC 20500

Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your administration, sir.
Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America. You are responsible to the citizens of the United States. You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia .... You didn't show Great Britain, our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia .. How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey ...... You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What's the matter with you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do with the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now?

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you did are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.

I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Islam and the World: Letter

May 21, 2010, 2010

Isaac Alp Bradley

Sir I have a question.

As some one from the west and as an American, all my news is filtered through national news organizations’ that only cover violence and politics from there prospective with little in-depth analysis in to the subject being discussed.
It is true most western media is biased to the view point of Muslim leadership in the world and this is known as liberalism (or the view point of the Obama administration and the BBC).
I have a few questions that I would ask you in order to enhance my education.

1. My doctor told me the Qur’an does not explicitly forbid images of Muhammad, but there are a few additional traditions added later, is this true? Are you aware that there is an image of Muhammad on the wall of the Supreme Court of the United States and has been there since 1930?

2. Do Muslim families weep when a daughter is born? My news sources do cover bad or unflattering news of the middle East but only in passing, most of the news is only about terrorism and how it is our (the west’s) fault, we also hear in detail how it is all Israel’s fault for a lack of middle eastern peace.
But when I see a news article on acid thrown on little girls and girl’s schools blown up or some young girl receiving lashes or being stoned to death because she was raped, and of honour killings because she embarrassed the family.
I have a difficult time wrapping my mind around such things, and when I see a news article about Muslim women being publicly groped or otherwise sexually harassed, I wonder if being born a woman in a Muslim nation is Gods punishment or even a version of hell.

3. A Muslim acquaintance of mine once told me all things are God’s will, so I asked if God did not want us to think why do we have a brain, or if the United States is the great Satin why would God allow America to exist?

4. As I understand it; Islam, Christianity and Judaism all pray to the same God is that not true?

5. As some one versed in the Christian faith it is my understanding, God is all powerful and is in no need of my help only in my obedience, is that not true in Islam? If that is true why is any one killing any one in the name of God?

6. I read an article in a news publication that stated that it is the goal of Islam to incrementally change Europe and even America until Sharia law is in effect, is this true?
I have noticed that in Germany and England and the rest of Europe have gone out of the way to appease Muslims and the more the local Muslims get the more they ask for, but there is no equal appeasement for Christians or Jews.

7. I have read that in Muslim nations teach that the Holocaust did not happen even though it is well documented, if the holocaust did not happen then was Persia ever a great empire or did Arabs invent algebra?
Once one part of history is denied how can the rest of history be safe guarded?

8. If an Islamic teacher knowingly tells a false hood (lie) for political gain or to achieve a political effect and people die is that a sin?

9. Is there any educated person in the Muslim world who thinks that any one in the west wants to have a Crusade?
I would be willing to bet out of the entire population of Europe and the United States combined we could not fill up a large buss with people who would be willing to put there own life on the line for such a thing.

10. Can there ever be peace between Islam and the rest of the world?

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Patriotic war of 1812: Apology

Isaac Alp Bradley
7 May, 2010

Re: Apology

As the unofficial, self appointed, unsanctioned, unwelcome, apology Czar of the Obama administration, of the United States of America.

I offer my humblest apologies to your self, the people and the government of the Russian Federation, for the French invasion of Russia of 1812. I believe you know it as the Patriotic War of 1812

It has been revealed that the whole war was the fault of the previous administration of President George Walker Bush.

The war was conducted under the direct supervision of Vice President, Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney, who used alien technology and a time machine stored in area 51 to perform time experiments with the unforeseen consequences. This resulted in a change in the course of history.
The former vice president was only looking for a better vodka recipe.

It has been further revealed that the entire Bush family, friends and as yet to be named co-conspirators’ have amassed Hugh fortunes through war profiteering through time and alcohol sales of the new; Big D Cheney, brand of vodka.
All will be dealt with harshly.

Please take comfort in knowing the Obama administration is working around the clock to lay the heavy hand of government on every individual in the United States. We are doing this in the form of rules, regulations and taxes both overt and covert.

We would like to thank you for sending former communist party leaders to the United States, they have found full employment in the Obama administration and with numerous news originations and to a lesser extent various centers of higher education.

The Obama administration will soon begin a program of having the population spy on each other; this will require the hiring of additional specialist with population repression skills.

A Presidential Victory: Blog

Debbie: Ahhhh the sweet smell of success, I will savor this for a long time.
We really put you teabag asses in your place; we won a victory that will last a hundred years.

Alp: Enjoy it while it lasts, you can not make any real changes when over half of the country is not behind you.

Debbie: They will come around just like Social Security and Medicare and eventually it will be expected, besides a little socialism is a good thing just like Albert Einstein said.

Alp: That is so progressive of you, and in a very limited way I agree, I am well aware of what talk radio thinks and I know the line of; our founding fathers never intended for any of this. I agree with that too, if every one could calm down and think it out.
1. There never has been this many people alive on the planet with the means of automated manufacturing.
2. The issues facing today’s people are mostly new.
3. Some times new (and old) problems require new solutions.

Debbie: Wow you have come a long way perhaps you won’t need reeducation, once we consolidate our power, starting with repealing the twenty-second amendment and a few other tweaks to the Constitution. For example banning all fire arms, taking control of the media, and fingerprinting/Dna files on every one.
We will achieve a world wide era of peace and prosperity.

Alp: That is at the least Marxist and some what freighting. What I meant is; in this day and age when people live so long, as compared to the 1800’s and live better than royalty of the 1800’s.
People or society needs Social Security and Medicare or a safety net.
In my youth after my father died my mother remarried a man with little education who drank a lot, if it wasn’t for welfare I would not have eaten and my monthly social security check was from time to time the only money we had, I know exactly what government (USDA) rice, peanut butter, cheese and powered milk tastes like. I know what food stamps are (were) and my mother learned to work the system to get cash from food stamps, from buying less than the face amount on the stamp you could get cash as change (most of the time).

But don’t think that I would ever buy in to the progressive / socialist / Democratic Party line.
As for world wide peace and prosperity, that has been tried before by the former Soviet Union , it did not work out well (in case you did not hear about it).

I will agree that some form of safety net is needed in the modern world as China is building, but when is enough, enough! What you socialists forget is some one pays for this, by force if need be.
I have been to Europe and it is a paradox, in that every one likes the benefits but every one complains bitterly about taxes.

Debbie: Are you saying the healthcare law is bad? It will help millions and like social security it will be a main stay of the United States. Also you will not pay taxes on it only the rich will and not by force.

Alp: Once again yes and no, I have seen older couples divorce but stay together in order to get more money and I have seen couples fight over who gets there prescription filled and who goes with out.
The issue with health care is that it was not set up to provide benefits to people; it is a mechanism to establish the Democrats power base for fifty years. It has all kinds of surprises and the manor the law was passed left a lot to be desired.
By the way, don’t pay your taxes and see what happens; you will get to meet new people.
I hope what Michael Moore thinks will happen, actually will happen (probably not).

Debbie: If you white racist, red neck, homophobes would see the light the world would be better off. Just what would you have done with health care, since you are soooo smart!

Alp: I was afraid you fell off your meds; that is the longest you have gone with out insulting me; you socialist can’t have a civil conversation.

I would have enhanced Medicare payments to doctors I would have created Medicare light for people under 65 that would consist of one doctor and lab/x-ray appointment per quarter and up to 65% help on prescriptions, I would allow a once a year catastrophic hospital stay. To pay for it I would recommend a 2.4 % across the board Medicare tax increase. Every thing else is not covered
As an example of course the above is not loaded with bribes, pay offs and sleazy back room deals.

Debbie: Wait! I thought you tea people where opposed to taxes of all types that you wanted all the benefits with out the taxes, you right wing hypocrites!

Alp: First, I too want the roads paved and the trash picked up, what I am opposed to is taxes imposed on me by subterfuge and out right lies. To be spent on who knows what.

Debbie: We will see won’t we? I will of course be right!

Unions: Blog

Debbie: I can not believe you attacked the unions, you homophobic, racist, low life.

Alp: First, thanks for the warm heart felt greeting, it is good to know the river of love is still flowing from the left.

But I did not attack unions I questioned a specific actions of local I.B.E.W. 357 or perhaps it should be the members of the local who are questioned.

Debbie: Every one including union members have the right to protest, are you out of your mind? Unions brought civilization to the work place.

Alp: 1st, I was a union member once and would be again should the opportunity arise. What I am driving at, is that protest and counter protest is one thing but deliberately trying to ambush and provoke a fight is going over the line.
Some of the unions are acting as the muscle of the Democratic Party just as most of the media serves as the unabashed propaganda arm.

Debbie: Bull! The unions and media are only countering the vast right wing conspiracy that…

Alp: I know, I know, it is George Bushes fault.

Debbie: No need to be snippy, unions brought us the weekend and child labor laws and a decent life to millions of people, you dammed red neck!

Alp: Red neck and proud of it! By the way, the term “redneck" was used in The West Virginia Coal Miners battle to unionize in 1921 and the term means different things to different people depending on who uses it and in what context, just like the “N” word.
But we are getting off track.
When unions radically attack the other side and get a pay off in the form of a special deal such as lower taxes on there health care plans, they are effectively sticking it to there neighbors, who must pick up the extra burden.

The fastest growing unions are in the federal government and state government , if you look at the states with the strongest unions you see the most problems; on average a government worker makes more in benefits and wages than private sector workers.

Debbie: You should be horse whipped and put in prison you racist ass! Unions are necessary in to day’s world; it is the only way to get a fair deal. A dumb ass such as your self would not understand that, you have no appreciation of the struggles of the every day workers. Unions are the back bone of democracy!

Alp: The point of a union in the modern age is to create jobs, not to be the back bone of any thing, as I remember the Soviet Union had unions and Lenin’s saying, "Trade Unions are a School of Communism".
How much money is spent on public schools in California? What is the union doing to help there state and neighbors? Not much I will bet, and did not Forbs name the NEA as the The National Extortion Association. Also do students receive a quality education?
Are the taxpayers receiving quality services for there money?

Debbie: What! I guess you want every one to go back to servitude and fear! I hope you die!!!

Alp: Another well reasoned thoughtful argument by a progressive, uber liberal, with your insight you will go far in the leftist power structure. There is nothing like a good horse whipping and prison time followed by death, all brought by the caring and compassionate left.

I picked the government unions because they (in my opinion ) get the most goodies for the least out put; that being said I (having been in a union) understand the need for them (unions) as most first level company managers have few people management skills, most of them start out thinking they are the new lord of the land. When any union sticks to pay, benefits and safety, I am all for them but when they venture in to abstract issues and volunteer to be the muscle for any political party they have went too far.

After all Jimmy Hoffa was a union leader. What picture comes to mind when you think of Mr. Hoffa and unions?

Debbie: Ok a few people have acted out; you should not paint the entire labor movement because of an isolated incident or two.
Most of the people involved in union activity are good and decent people only trying to improve the quality of their lives, after being hurt by Reaganomics and the Bush years.
You just don’t understand any thing.

Alp: I agree with the good and decent people part, as long as you mean the rank and file, but as for the bashing of President Reagan and President G.W. Bush I will save for a later day, but be advised; hands down President Reagan was the best president in modern times.
At the end of the day it is the union leadership that is trying to expand their power on the backs of the rank and file members. The question is to what purpose? Why would any one support a plan to slowly restrict the rights and freedoms of their fellow Americans? This is exactly what it looks like from my prospective, the union leader ship working hand and hand with the Democratic Party and the media. To what point?

Debbie: Perhaps you need a new point of view, after all president Bush trampled on the law too!

Alp: two wrongs don’t make a right. Mmm, new point of view? Do you mean re-education camps, cultural sensitivity class?
Oh by he way look at the California pensions and ask you’re self who ran them and what where their political leanings, and who profited. Plus who will pick up the tab? Tax payers, neighbors, fellow Californians, the rest of America or you?

Debbie: We will at this point just agree to disagree. I will be keeping an eye on you.

I.B.E.W. 357 :Letter

April 6, 2010

Isaac Alp Bradley

Mr. Edwin (Ed) D. Hill

As the writer of the Twistedway Blog, I was visiting you website, I found it to be well organized and limited to the issues of your union.
Then I went to the I.B.E.W. 357, web site, it is different, in fact it states:

“Declaration of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
"Our cause is the cause of human justice, human rights, human security. We refuse, and will always refuse, to condone or tolerate dictatorship or oppression of any kind.
We will find and expel from our midst any who might attempt to destroy, by subversion, all that we stand for.
This Brotherhood will continue to oppose communism, Nazism or any other subversive "ism". We will support our God, our Nations, our Union."

This is fine but in light of the locals, actions regarding the Tea Party Protesters on the 27th of March 2010.

The local seems to be studying Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, whose book could be summarized as: The main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. “The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.”

The Unions seem from my prospective to be doing the same things they accuse corporations of doing. By this I mean; the actions of the unions to support the health care law that give better deals to union members than the same deals offered to the general public, basically the unions appear to be willing to stick it to there neighbors in order to receive a better deal.

Please understand I have no issues with any union supporting there own political issues in there field, but the local 357 went over the line.

What are you planning on doing about this and how far is too far?

Thank you for your time.

The War's:Blog

The War

Debbie: Today I want to ask why warmongers like your self support the war of aggression against Iraq.

Alp: Ok what about it.

Debbie: I am talking about the war president Bush started in order to enrich all of you war profiteers at the expense of the poor innocent people of Iraq, there was never any weapons of mass destruction; you homophobic, raciest, elitist republican bastard.

Alp: Here we go again, could you lay off the name calling I know it is a requirement of the politically left, but it is annoying.
I will agree that you have some valid points in regards to weapons of mass destruction but I do not believe it was started to enrich any one (at least as its primary goal), I personally think it was an opportunity to settle some old scores his father started.

Debbie: Ok now you are seeing the light welcome to the correct side of the street. There may be hope for you yet.

Alp: Hold on before you give me a membership card, I believe the war was worth while
If nothing else rid the world of a dictatorship and some good things happened, that of course where not reported by the leftist media.

Also no one ever mentions that Saddam Hussein had a chance to stop the war before it started, at the end of the first gulf war Iraq agreed to scrap all germ weapons and poison gas and allow UN observers to inspect the sites. After the war UN inspectors could not verify compliance.

Debbie: Good God that is weak and you think that is a good reason to go to war?
You right wing, bible thumping hypocrite! I will agree that Iraq was some what cagey with inspectors but war!

Alp: Calm down, your little heart will explode. Yes I am sure there was internal local and regional politics involved. Saddam had to look strong in Iraq and out side Iraq for both political and cultural reasons. But so did President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair, once tens of thousands of troops were moved and billions of dollars spent, war was all but a done deal. Had Saddam said “ok you are right we will do what ever is necessary right now in order to avoid bloodshed “. And actually followed through, every one could have saved face and Saddam would still be there.

Debbie: Well, I will agree the Middle East is a manly macho part of the world and Saddam could have been toppled had he knuckled under, but he was dammed if he did and dammed if he did not. It was all George Bushes fault.

Alp: I disagree, the blame can be laid at the feet of every administration from Ronald Reagan to Bill Clinton on to George Herbert Walker Bush as all of them did not respond strongly enough to terrorism when and where ever it happened.

Debbie: No you are wrong, with the exception of Ronald Reagan; he was a warmonger too, like all republicans and tea baggers.

Alp: Wow you really drank the cool aid and had an extra serving. Saddam Hussein was an evil man who lead an evil government, he or his government committed crimes every day. The leftist media knew it but put money before their supposed high ideals and integrity.

Debbie: listen here you raciest, homophobic, right wing ass! I guess you listen to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Laura Anne Ingraham just like a good NAZI.

Alp: First of all the term Nazi means: National Socialist German Workers' Party and I would think that Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi would have a better understanding of socialist and all things left wing. Second, I also I also watch Keith Obermann and read the Huffington Post and try to see the other sides, point of view since I am a true independent. I think both sides have valid points on various issues, but as far as the war is concerned or should I say wars? I will support the right side of the political spectrum.

Also I will support the troops come hell or high water.

Debbie: So I guess you’re a veteran and a true warmonger, you make me sick.

Alp: Yes I am a Vet and proud of it. It is soldiers, veterans and patriots who have put life and limb on the line for two hundred years so you can freely speak about what ever comes in to your small closed minded little head; and even though you’re a progressive or socialist you still enjoy privileges you would deny others.

Debbie: Make up your mind, it’s either progressive or socialist, and politics aside the wars are wrong. Look at how long it is taking! The money spent the lives lost, our international prestige in the toilet. You dammed, conservative, homophobic, raciest low life! Also it is talk radio that is causing discontent.

Alp: How ever you define yourself politically is of little matter, your desire to fundamentally change the United States is the issue.
While we are at it could you please stop calling me names!
Yes war is expensive, as is doing nothing or even worse appeasement and the time it is taking is on par with other insurgency actions and it is being conducted with a lot more political correctness than any time in the past.
As far as talk radio is concerned; it is a bastion of freedom, a main component of an alternative point of view as opposed to 90 percent of the national media who would love to go back to restricted news, whose content is decided by them.
The international standing of the United States will rise and fall but when some other nation needs help, I am sure they will call.

Debbie: We will see.

Shock and Awe:Blog

President Obama’s first year.

Debbie: I think the president is doing a wonderful job, if it wasn’t for those dam republicans and all the right wing extremist tea bag asses, the country would by on the right tract.

Alp: Wow that’s sure is a progressive out look.

Debbie: It is frustrating, we have all the power, and we have the entire legislative body, the executive branch, all most the entire national media with the exception of Fox who should not count as a media outlet.

Alp: So before you went on a side track demonizing Fox, your point was?

Debbie: I don’t understand why we have not fundamentally changed the United States government; we could reverse decades of right wing crap. We could take our place as a proud member of the nations of the world as equals not as America the empire throwing our weight around.

Alp: Ok. Let’s look at it from a different prospective.
I think president Obama is 1. natural presidential material and 2. he was thrust in to the Oval Office way too soon as he never really did any thing of substance with the exception of community organizing and I am not sure that counts.
I will bet the president is missing the days when he had rock star status. It is one thing to stand out side and rabble rouse (I mean community organizing by him) it is something else to be responsible for the very same government.
He made promises he could not keep and instead of turning the other cheek at the first hint of opposition his administration turned to the tried and true Chicago style of politics on a national level.

The United States is what it is by virtue of our place in history, our form of government; our manifest destiny (to promote and defend democracy throughout the world) or perhaps American exceptionalism would be a better description.

Otherwise we should tell the world to piss off.

Debbie: What! Are you some dammed tea bagger? Manifest destiny my ass, people like you are dangerous and should be locked up, the progressive way is better all the way around.
I will have you know the president has kept some promises and if it wasn’t for lowlifes like your self we would be better off.
Also the president had to defend his self against you right wing nuts.

Alp: Calm you self, your working your self in to a lather.

First of all there is nothing wrong with any one who belongs to the tea party movement and according to Mrs. Clinton it is your duty to protest. She did say” We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”
I would think a progressive, such as your self would agree.
America is the most generous nation on earth and it would be irresponsible for the United States not to take the lead around the world if for no other reason than we can. Only a progressive or a communist would want to lock up the opposition.

Debbie: I know what you are doing you racist bastard, you hate the president because he is black, I bet you are a not only a teabager but a birther too.

Alp: First, teabager has a sexual conation, its tea party protester and second, I have no interest in president Obama’s birth certificate, If the Clinton political machine could not find any thing then I do not believe any one else will, and at this point it is academic any way.
Before you call me any more names let’s settle the air; I could care less what color the president is, in fact I was hoping Condoleezza Rice would face Mrs. Clinton in a grudge match for the White House.
What I care about is the power grab and the unlimited spending and while we are at it. I am of the belief that all politicians lie, you can tell just by watch to see if there lips move.

Debbie: I bet you voted for McCain you racist; you just could not bring your self to vote for a black man. Its hate like yours that is holding the president back, its just part of the vast right wing conspiracy, between right wing radio and you baggers, you are holding back what could be a shining moment in American history.

Another thing, I bet you love George Bush and he started the power grab and the spending. You can not lay this at the feet of the Democrats.

Alp: Well you are correct more or less, I did vote for president Bush twice, and he did start spending with the help of congress and the senate, that happened to be in the control of the democratic party.
At one time I thought he was running for the Presidency of Mexico, just like I thought president Obama was running for the office of President of Europe.

Debbie: I know for a fact if your racism was not a factor you too would see that president Obama is the answer to every thing that ills our nation. I also will concede that the Democrats had a small part in the train wreck that is the national economy, but this is why we must pass the presidents legislation to save the nation.

Alp: That is exactly why we must not pass the legislation it will slowly strangle freedom with never ending layers of bureaucracy and rules. Slowly like a frog in a pan of water who dose not notice the temperature rising.
For example the presidents health care plan that he intends to ram through and his mismanagement of the economy by waffling on decisions (waiting on the focus group to decide) and creating uncertainty; this has the look of a sell out but I am not willing at this time to say that is the case.

Debbie: Is there not any thing you like about the president?

Alp: Sure, even though I do not like his health plan I admire his conviction on pressing forward, and some time when he forgets where he is and speaks candidly I appreciate it; for example when he listened to the credit card industry and told a credit card rep. to make there pitch or his out reach to the Muslim world and I will concede he has done things on the margin that are ok, and he is already setting up for reelection( Oh Joy ).

The thing is, my disagreements with the president dose not make me a raciest and I would love to have a beer with him.

Debbie: we will see!

About Me:Blog

About me, I am old enough to take a real interest in Social Security and Medicare but not old enough to be able to use it.
I have many interests but I follow politics closely, it is the only real theater. I am not rich or even well off (by American standards) and in my youth I had first hand, close up, in-depth exposure to poverty, I have first hand knowledge of life on the wrong side of the tracks.

I am white, male and in my field, educated. That education (as you will see) did not include a lot of English composition and to add insult to injury it has been a long time since I wrote any thing of substance.

I am sure any one who reads this is now wondering just why in the word some one like this would try to write.

The answer is;
1. I am not getting any younger.
2. I want to add my voice to the national conversation.
3. I feel that not doing well is better than not trying.
4. Considering what I have read and heard on TV and radio, I can not do much worse.
5. Since the President of the United States, Who received his education at one of Americas most esteemed centers of higher education and is a published author, attorney and community organizer. Feels free to speak with out the facts, such as the Gates incident, or about the Vienna Summit where President Kennedy met with (Soviet leader Nikita) Khrushchev and the Hanford nuclear waste clean-up or my favorite; doctors cut off feet to make $30,000 a foot, President Obama said "If that same diabetic ends up getting their foot amputated, that's $30,000, $40-$50,000, immediately the surgeon is reimbursed।"

Why should I muzzle my self?

I have chosen to use a point counterpoint method for this blog as it is (for my self) a better way to make my point and will aid in writing. I have also chosen to model my opponent after a friend of my daughter, who would argue with a fence post and go to extra ordinary lengths to make her point.

Given the choice, I would live in Hawaii watch the waves roll in and drink Kona coffee, get a part time job and live happily ever after.

I am a fiscal conservative but I like to think I am more moderate in other areas (live and let live).

Last of all I apologize in advance for errors in grammar, I hope time (your patience and understanding) and practice will help.

Now for the rules:
1. Please do not send me 10 page e-mails; I do not have time to read them.
2. Also if I am wrong please explain with FACTS why I am wrong, or in error but comments such as; you suck are not very informative.
3. There are a lot of reasons to get mad but please check your emotions, I will give serious thought to a fact based, rational argument, but unless we both experienced the event (what ever event it may be) and view it the same way, we will never have a meeting of the minds vis-à-vis emotion.
4. Between writing that is grammatically correct or rhetorically interesting I will strive for the rhetorically interesting and some day may achieve both.
5. If the above is not good enough…………………Oh well, thanks for reading.
